Kiss me after the disagreement.
Not to avoid the conversation, but to remind us that we are not enemies.
Let love stay in the room while pride is being asked to leave.
A narcissist ngga will make sure everybody OUTSIDE the house think he the realest dude alive. Always smiling, always helping folks, always tryna be the hero where people can see it. But behind closed doors? He a cold, dismissive, emotionally draining, ngga that treat the ones who love him the worst. Baby, he don’t care about being a good man… he care about LOOKING like one. That image mean way more to him than his actual character.
Unfortunately, I do want a provider. I do want a protector. I do want a leader. I do want a dominant man. I do want emotional maturity and effective communication. I do want mental stability. I do want to be spoiled. I do want self awareness. I do want clingy, obsessed and safe. I do want someone who chooses me every time. And nobody is going to make me feel bad for wanting those things in a partner.
Please raise your daughters to have hobbies, interests, and academics...so when they become adults and middle-aged women they have something to talk about besides a man.
I can’t wait to get married, make my husband a daddy then throw him big cookouts at our house & shower him with nice gifts. I got it all planned out lmfaooooo
i think stressing over a man is pointless. the choices they make are completely out of your control & their behavior has nothing to do with you. all you can do is pray that God allows the right partner into your life & drag anyone who doesn't care for you properly out.
Idk but Michelle Obama telling Barack “You told me all those years ago that you couldn't promise me the world, but you could promise me an interesting life. And, of course you outdid yourself and managed to give me both." is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever heard someone say to another 🥹
I used to tell myself “maybe they're going through something” to justify the way people treated me. But then I realised I was going through a lot too, and I still never treated anyone that way.
