Impressed beating Fallacious Promise over C&D last month. Another good run beaten less than a length at Yarmouth last time. Form stacking up and he can do better again if he settles in the early stages so keen to back him to make it 2-2 over track and trip.

Gamble landed for MYTHOLOGICAL STAR at Ffos Las last week. No surprise to see him turned out quickly and he has further improvement to come over a mile and a quarter so good chance he manages to follow up against these.

I don't really see why Harry Knows is as short as he is here. I don't think he is entirely straightforward and while he brings winning C&D form it took him a while to get his head in front. I prefer THIS MOMENT for George Boughey. He is improving with experience and only missed narrowly last time. This track will suit and now pitched into a nursery is worth keeping on side.

The money came for MY OLD MATE at this track last time and he made no mistake winning readily. The form has worked out well since too and with more to come looking at his progressive profile he looks a great bet to follow up against these with Billy Loughnane taking over in the saddle.

If you have followed me long enough you'll know I've had my eye on NO SURRENDER for a while now and this looks a good opportunity for him to get back in the winners enclosure. He has been shaping better than the bare result and down to a mark of 75 now he is looked well handicapped. First-time cheekpieces should help and I'm expecting a big run at a good price.

I know PRINCE OF PERTH hasn't seriously threatened yet but he has been sent off 33/1 (in a bumper), 16/1 (hurdles debut) and then 25/1 last time and hasn't been disgraced. This slight step up in trip will help and this is obviously much easier so it wouldn't be a surprise to see him a big player in this. He will be staying on strongly and as long as he doesn't get outpaced he'll have a massive chance.

There was plenty to like about that C&D win last month from LUNAR CONTACT and with the same tactics likely to be adopted again I think he can follow up. He got into a lovely rhythm off the front and found plenty when asked to go clear at the finish. He is only 4lb higher and remains unexposed especially at this trip so I think he has plenty in favour and 9/4 seems more than fair to back that up.

The favourite At No Time will probably be tough to beat but CAPLA LAZARUS looks great each way value and never be scared of one horse. He ran well on debut beaten just a length and then was outpaced in a decent race at Nottingham last month. He'll be hitting peak fitness now and stretching out in trip should see him improve again so he is going under the radar somewhat and is worth a bet.

I was with Frankel filly BEYOND WORDS when she made a winning handicap debut at 14/1 over C&D back in August and while she was beaten at Kempton since she wasn't disgraced going down less than 3 lengths and back at this venue I expect her to get firmly back on track. She is off the same mark as last time and almost certainly has more to come on just her sixth career outing.
