Stephen Miller just called on the Supreme Court to step in immediately. Rhode Island Judge John McConnell blocked President Trump's immigration safeguards for applicants from 39 high-risk countries.

The 135-page ruling freezes processing of asylum grants, work permits, green cards, and citizenship applications. It puts hundreds of thousands of cases in limbo while claiming the policies were driven by anti-immigrant bias instead of national security.

These measures came after real threats including last year's National Guard shootings. Trump is delivering on his promise to vet migrants rigorously and protect American citizens first.

One local judge shouldn't get to rewrite the rules and declare America open to the world no matter the risks. Presidents have long used travel restrictions and enhanced screening from dangerous regions. American voters chose stronger borders not endless delays and loopholes.

This isn't about compassion. It's about enforcing the law and putting our people first.
