This is not a solution to the immigration crisis, it is actively making the problem far worse.

By creating yet more incentives and legal pathways, you are signalling to the world that the UK remains an open door, encouraging more dangerous journeys across the Channel rather than deterring them.

Expanding schemes like this, originally intended for Ukrainians fleeing war, to wider global refugee flows does nothing to restore control over our borders or address the strain already placed on housing, public services, and community cohesion.

Instead of prioritising the deportation of failed asylum seekers and stopping the boats, you are effectively asking taxpayers to subsidise further mass arrivals.

This approach risks importing additional problems, from integration failures to heightened pressures on local communities that have already had enough.

It shows a complete disconnect from the concerns of ordinary British people who expect their government to put their interests first.I urge you to abandon this misguided policy immediately and focus instead on genuine border security measures that actually reduce numbers. The British public deserve better than being bribed to accept more of the same.
