@WoTMatsPips Both the season / episode made quite clear that Ishy wanted to: 1) destroy the wheel, 2) die. He couldn't accomplish #1, so he settled on #2. When Rand resisted him and his friends joined the fight, Ishy gave up.

@maiden_of_spear I think they're trying to suggest that maybe Mat is the Dragon Reborn by having Logain spot him out as a Ta'varen.... I think they probably want to keep the audience guessing unlike in EOTW where it is obvious that it's Rand...
