🖤Calibrating Bill Leader’s importance for Britain’s folk scenes is impossible. He did so much to preserve and foster Britain’s traditional and revivalist folk music for future ears. Sail on, Bill.

[Topic Records @TopicRecords]

RIP Bill Leader. A pivotal figure in the British folk revival, who has passed away leaving behind a legacy woven into the very fabric of traditional music.
Bill Leader will be remembered not just for what he recorded, but for what he helped sustain, a living tradition.
