@RameshMeenaSev1 Very interesting! In English, the word "saw" refers to industrial things such as cutting a tree. For food, we call this a "serrated knife" or a "bread knife." I love learning what other languages call these things too! 😍

QUIZ: What kind of knife is this?

#EnglishVocab #LearnEnglish #EnglishPractice

[Topical English @TopicalEnglish]

@bairagi145 This is correct! It is also sometimes called a bread knife.

[Topical English @TopicalEnglish]

@NituYumnam Nice work! 🥳 It is called a bread knife because of the serrated edge. (serrated = has a row of sharp points)

@ESTS24 @NituYumnam Awesome!!

This week's topic is dishes and tableware! We'll start with an easy quiz.. What are these things?

#LearnEnglish #PracticeEnglish #EnglishVocab

[Topical English @TopicalEnglish]

@ESTS24 Yes, we do call this a butter knife, even though it is used for everyday meals. 🍽️ Good work!

[Topical English @TopicalEnglish]

@SevakMeena Very good! (basic 'things') 👏😊

[Topical English @TopicalEnglish]

@russellschick Good job!

[Topical English @TopicalEnglish]

@NituYumnam Perfect! 😍👏

Cutlery specifically means spoons, knives and forks 😉😊

[Topical English @TopicalEnglish]

@NituYumnam Cutlery refers to 3 & 4, but not 1 & 2. Do you know the names of each item?

[Topical English @TopicalEnglish]

@jera2609 Very nice! 😍🍂

How do you say "autumn" in your native language?

[Topical English @TopicalEnglish]

@ctognoni69 Beautiful! 😍

[Topical English @TopicalEnglish]

@PreerayaT Very nice! 😍🍂

[Topical English @TopicalEnglish]
