After years of surviving, some of us finally get a quiet window in our 20's or 30's. A little more room, fewer emergencies, the chance to build something gentler, better boundaries. Don’t rush past that season. Let yourself become someone who feels safe in their own life.
@dwwlhivemind This algorithm is crazy. I decided to do the same thing for a bigger collection piece recently and sure enough X finds me a post showing the pay off
@espn1cardsebay Statistically people can debate it but a lot of people forget his blocking capabilities.
Yes his crackback blocks were outlawed, rightfully so. But there is plenty of film of him being technically sound blocking as well which is why the Steelers running game was effective.
I’ve realized one of the most important skills you can have as an adult is the ability to bounce back from upsetting situations. Like yeah sure you’ll be disappointed, you’ll be angry. You’ll be sad as fuck, and what matters is your ability to be okay again after the bad things.
People give what they carry inside. Kind people include. Mature people communicate. Healed people set boundaries. Secure people celebrate others. The way people treat you is often a reflection of what lives within them, not a measure of your worth.
It’s incredibly selfish to enter someone’s life, recognise how loving, genuine, and full of light they are and then disrupt their peace because you haven’t dealt with your own issues. It’s one thing to be healing, to have fears or to carry wounds from your past. None of us are perfect and we all have things we’re working through. But there’s a difference between being imperfect and making someone else pay for the pain you refuse to confront. You don’t get to seek comfort in someone’s kindness, enjoy the way they love you and then treat their heart carelessly because you don’t know how to handle your own emotions. Someone else’s love is not a place to hide from the work you need to do on yourself. If you have no intention of showing up with honesty, consistency and sincerity, leave people alone. You never know how hard someone has worked to find their peace and you have no right to make them pay for wounds they didn’t cause.
