This would have been correct if Ephesians 5 : 22 and 25said
Husbands love your wife as long as she submits
And wife, submit to your husband as long as he provides.

But we thank the Lord…
Both statements have Christ and the Church as the prototype.

Love and Submission as prescribed by the Bible are not earned, they are instructed.

So Love and Submission in a Christian Marriage, are not predicated on money, respect, culture, social media, misogyny, feminism, love or even submission.

Also, if you think are the head of the home simply because you earn more (male or female), it says more about you and your POV than the marital institution.

If you have no love for the person you marry, that you feel the need to relate with them based on ideaologies or -isms from any side of the divide, that says more about you and your choices that than the marital institution.

If you are not married yet, and you are already braced to act out on a person you have not met, a relationship you have not entered… then that says more about your trauma and your nurture than the marital institution.

There are happy marriages.
So many happy marriages.
And life is not really that hard.
Ask anyone.

You may bring up failed marriages, as sad and real as the issues are, when a plane crashes, we don’t say we will not fly anymore. Anyone who does is treated for PTSD.

We also don’t pick apart the wreckage and rewrite the order. Oh this pilot made a mistake, let’s ban all pilots. No, we train pilots better so they don’t make the same mistake.

We take the black box and compare it with the standard and adjust going forward.
