An incredibly photogenic stovepipe tornado struck north of Laramie, Wyoming. The twister could be seen for miles and was rated EF3 after bending large metal poles & scouring grass. A satellite EF2 briefly touched down as well. No one was injured.

A strong cone tornado impacted rural areas in Goshen County, Wyoming. The EF2 was scanned by several Doppler On Wheels mobile radar units and was studied in-depth by the VORTEX2 project. Few structures were impacted during its 25-minute lifespan.
