You never really know what lies underground. Full phase 2, multiple core samples, and we’ve owned the property for over 60 years.
We unearthed a gigantic, 76,000lb reinforced concrete block and several other large pieces.
Adds more time and expense.

I like to drive different ways around town to see what’s going on. This bike ride exposed me to parts of town I wouldn’t have otherwise been in. Took some RE pointers along the way. Plus, doing a century ride is always a pretty great accomplishment!
