They dropped so many bombs on Gaza and released over 30 million tonnes of CO2. There's also the data centers, one of them reportedly releasing 23 atomic bombs worth of heat into the atmosphere. We are also razing forests faster than we can regrow them.
“AI makes things easy anyone can do it! But also using AI is a skill and an art form and I should be taken seriously because it’s actually really hard.” Which one is it?
Support real artists and especially those in the communities AI is destroying.
“AI will lower the barrier for entry” and “AI is here to help with the menial tasks” are conflicting statements. These so called “menial tasks” still require skill and are usually given to entry level artists. How do they get in now?
Is the end goal efficiency? As someone who’s work in this industry for a while, anytime an efficiency is found, it doesn’t take pressure off. “You have so much more time now! How about you do the job you were already doing but also this other thing not in your job description?”
An even if you did, what do you think the end goal of AI (in animation) is? Make things cheaper? When has that EVER worked in our industry? Studios have shown time and time again that they will always cut corners at the expense of their employees.
