@LargeInStature_ My niece is growing up outside of the church. When she was barely talking at one years old at Christmas, She looked at my mother's nativity statue. Unprompted she said: Mommy, Daddy, baby. Children know. They have the light of Christ in them.
@elanning64 I've basically given up. Biology isn't on my side as a woman. I've tried my options. People say, date out the church. I see no future in it. Alas. I'll just wait until the next life. Gender ratio of men to women is so scuffed. Plenty of woman have to go without.
@Dannyinsight2@alma43_47 One person does not equal everyone. That is a very weird thing to do and she shouldn't be temple worthy because she is not keeping the law of chastity.
@jmbrim3 Mine are filled with promises of the future. As I get older I just wonder when they are going to happen. Patience is a virtue. But it's no fun at all. I'm not having a lot fun waiting.
@like_tidy@realMaalouf Cool and?
The fact is it's only a small minority of catholic women who are nuns and who dress like that because they are providing a service for the church. Rest of the woman dress in the church dress what they like.
Hijabs are not optional. It's mandatory for all women.
@like_tidy@realMaalouf Your are comparing a working girl's uniform to mandatory every day wear. You are comparing oranges to celery over here with this stupid take.
@LDSLaw Their search function is less than useless. I just use bing and google instead when I am looking for hymns to sing along with in sacrament meeting on my tablet. So I agree with you.
