ποΈ New episode! Season 13 opens with "The Good That I Would Do."
"For the good that I would I do not" (Romans 7:19). Many of our battles are habits rooted in our thought life. Our part: the renewing of the mind (Romans 12:2). π§

π Micah 4:2 (CJB): "For out of Tziyon will go forth Torah, the word of Adonai from Yerushalayim."
In the Messianic age, the nations stream to learn His ways. If Torah were gone, why would they still come to learn it? π€ #Torah
π Did the commandments end at the cross?
Yeshua said, "If you love me, keep my commandments." A short clip from Torah Awakenings.

πͺ "I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me" (John 14:6).
Yeshua is the door. A door is meant to be walked through, not stood in forever. Will we keep walking toward the Father? π #HebrewRoots
ποΈ Early followers of Yeshua used the fish, the shepherd, the lamb, the anchor. Not the cross.
Crucifixion humiliated Jews under Rome. The Latin cross as Christianity's emblem rose centuries later under Gentile leadership.
History invites a second look. π
π "The burden of the Lord." Not that the message is bad, but that it is heavy.
Ezekiel was set as a watchman for Israel. God has always warned before judgment.
I've carried this for months. Today I finally wrote it down: Wake Up Call. #Watchman
In Iraq, our convoy kicked up so much sand we couldn't see ten feet ahead. So we'd halt and let the dust settle. ποΈ
Faith can be like that. When the smoke clears, we learn to tell what's truly holy from what has merely become familiar.
What has the dust been hiding? π€
"And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work" (Gen 2:3). ποΈ
Yeshua kept the seventh-day Sabbath. So did the apostles.
Is this a heaven-or-hell issue? Not at all. But when we know better, we do better. π―οΈ
π³ In Romans 11, Paul says Gentile believers were "grafted in," then reminds us: "thou bearest not the root, but the root thee" (Rom 11:18).
If we've been grafted into the family of Israel, how should that shape the way we see Israel, and the Torah? π€ #HebrewRoots
π Praise or worship? Are they the same thing?
The Hebrew word translated "worship" is shachah: to bow oneself low, as if presenting a gift. Praise lifts Him up. Worship brings us low before Him.
Both matter. When did you last bow low before Him? π #HebrewRoots
Remember the "special plates" that only came out at Thanksgiving or Christmas? π½οΈ That's kodesh, the Hebrew word for holy: set apart.
That's what Torah did for Israel. It set them apart to be a light to the nations.
What if "Law" never meant what we were taught? π #Torah
πΏ Many of us were taught the biblical feasts are "Jewish holidays." Yet Leviticus 23:2 calls them "the feasts of the LORD... even these are my feasts."
Yeshua fulfilled the spring feasts at His first coming. The fall feasts point to His return; Sukkot, to His reign. βΊ #Sukkot
