These words are the very meaning of a Jew and of Judaism:
To live in a state of sustained wonder. To know that there are things beyond human grasp. That the very existence of anything at all is beyond understanding.
And then to strive to understand.

@CrimsonEsquire@Mandalorthodox The names of certain idols are often found in the Torah, but they are only titles of certain statues, which the Torah calls "false gods."
@LeeTaeRyeo @maimonides_nutz @Mandalorthodox The Torah teaches G-d's Oneness as an absolutely universal principal. There are 7 laws for all of humanity, known as the 7 Noahide laws. The first law is that there is 1 single Creator. https://t.co/Hbmd5kGODv
There are 2 types of humility-
1. A person makes room for others, and sees room where s/he needs to grow. This is good.
2. A person asks: "Who am I to change myself? Change the world? I'm nobody to do anything..." This is false and destructive.
-Toldos Yaakov Yosef- Gittin 56a
Failure is wasted if you return only to the place from where you fell. If your plans fail, think bigger, aim higher.
-@TzviFreeman based on the Rebbe's teachings
Moshe asked: "Who can build Him a sanctuary?"
G‑d answered: "I ask not according to My capacity but according to their capacity."
-Midrash Rabbah Bamidbar 12
Hashem gave Moshe a task.
Moshe asked: "I don't understand how I can do this."
Hashem replied: "You do your part and I will do Mine."
-Tanchuma 16, see Rashi to Bamidbar 3:16
Abraham saw evil succeeding in this world and wondered, "Where is G-d?"
G-d answered:
"I am here. Where are you?"
Thus began the revolution of Judaism: Humanity's venture to restore the world to the palace it was intended to be.
בר' רבה לט:א-
as interpreted by @rabbisacks
Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai hid in a cave for 13 years, often visited by Eliyahu haNavi.
When he finally left and came to a town, He didn't say: “Let me enlighten you.”
He said: “What can I fix for you?”
All wisdom you are given is for one purpose: To help you fix.

You are a city with 4 magical gates.
Seeing
Listening
Imagining
Speaking.
Magical because an infinite G-d enters into your finite city.
Nonsense tries to storm those gates. If it gets in, no room will be left for G-d.
If you master your gates, the whole city is yours

@Rabbishish "People say that they are waiting for Hashem to take them put of galus, but who says Hashem isn't waiting for them to take galus out of themselves?"
Thia is a quote from the Rebbe. The question is- What am I going to do to take galus out of me?...
Once, a man was arrested on false charges. On any one day a year, he was allowed to leave his prison.
He asked the Radbaz: "Which day should I choose? "
The Radbaz answered: "Take your first oppertunity. Do not wait, for the most important day will always be today."
Vaccinations stimulate the body with a weakened version of a disease to create antibodies against them.
The lesson in service of G-d: Minor challenges and difficulties you face in new endeavors should be seen as a vaccine against a more severe challenge later on.

The word בשמחה, happiness, has the same letters as מחשבה, thought.
Happiness comes from your mindset, not from external things. In whatever situation Hashem put you in, arrange your thoughts correctly and you will find true happiness.
