Why are representatives of the Islamic Republic still given the room, the microphone, the seat and the time to deliver their embarrassing speeches – casually flipping through their little booklets while telling the same lies?

What exactly is @kajakallas trying to achieve here? What exactly is the UN trying to achieve?

Because I want to make one thing very clear:

The question of the Islamic Republic is no longer merely a political one. It is a HUMANITARIAN one.

In 2025 alone, at least 2,159 people were executed in Iran – the highest number Amnesty International has recorded there since 1981.

People have been imprisoned, tortured and executed. Protesters have been sentenced to death. Families have watched their children disappear into prisons.

And yet, after everything that has happened, especially in January with more than 40.000 killings on two evenings, the world somehow returns to the same table and behaves as though this were ordinary diplomacy with an ordinary government.

The Islamic Republic does not represent the Iranian people. It represses them, imprisons them and repeatedly demonstrates how easily it is willing to take their lives.

And STILL Kaja Kallas sits across from Araghchi as though this were the most normal thing in the world.

At what point does “diplomacy” become normalization?

What exactly has to happen before the Iranian people themselves finally become more important than another meeting, another negotiation, another photograph and another seat at the table?

Shame on the UN.
