Your streak never resets to zero. Ever. 🛡️

You asked for this for months. Today two of the most requested changes in Torium history go live at once: a streak ladder that pays up to +70% on your mining rate, and referral commissions that climb up to 20%.

Why now? Every halving makes TOR harder to mine. The third one landed in August and the base rate is a fraction of what it was in March. The miners who kept showing up and kept bringing friends through all of that deserve more of what is left. These rates are how we pay that back. Both boosts are percentages, so they keep their weight through every halving to come.

🔥 Streaks: the 7-day loop is gone. The ladder is here.

The old streak was a loop. Climb for a week, hit +50% on day 7, then drop back to +10% on day 8 and start over. Fall outside the 72-hour window once and the whole thing reset to day 1. A 30-day miner and a 2-day miner earned the same boost on the same cycle day. That never made sense, and you told us so.

The new streak is a ladder. It only climbs, and the boost is tied to how long you have shown up:

Day 3 · +10%
Day 7 · +20%
Day 14 · +30%
Day 30 · +40%
Day 90 · +50%
Day 180 · +60%
Day 365 · +70%

The boost applies to every session, all day, and it does not fall off. A 30-day streak pays +40% today, tomorrow and every day until you reach the next tier.

🛡️ The Shield

If you have ever used Duolingo, you know the streak freeze. Torium now has one built in, and it is free. You always carry one shield. Miss a day and the shield covers it, your day count keeps climbing like nothing happened. Use it and a new one is ready 7 days later. Nothing to buy, nothing to collect.

No shield ready and you miss a day? You drop exactly one tier. Not to zero. Never to zero. Day 40 with no shield becomes day 14, still +30%, and the climb continues from there.

Your current streak carries over as it is, nothing restarts. A 105-day streak lands on +50% today. 16,964 active miners with 30+ day streaks wake up on +40% today. Five Toriumanias are already past day 180 and start the ladder on +60%. The longest streak on the network right now is 186 days.

Four things to know:

· Days 1 and 2 pay +0%. Before, they paid +10% and +15%. The ladder rewards showing up, not signing up.
· Have not checked in for 3 or more days? You start one tier below where you were, not at day 1. Two days away is covered by your shield.
· A streak day is now your local calendar day, not a 24-hour timer. Check in once a day, any time that day.
· One shield covers one missed day. Two missed days in a row still costs a tier.

🤝 Referrals: your share now grows with your team

Until today every referrer earned a flat 10% of what their referrals mined. Same for someone with 2 referrals and someone with 1,000. That changes now.

Your commission share climbs with your qualified referrals. A referral counts as qualified once they have mined on 3 different days:

0 · 10%
20 · 11%
100 · 12.5%
500 · 15%
1,000 · 17.5%
5,000 · 20%

326 referrers already have 20+ qualified referrals and move to 11% or higher today. 50 of them are past 100. The top referrer on the network, with 1,116 qualified referrals, lands on 17.5%.

This is the ongoing commission share only. The referral mining rate bonus you already have stays exactly as it is. The two stack.

Two things to know:

· Qualified referrals, not signups. Bots and dead accounts do not move your tier.
· The new percent applies from today forward. Past earnings do not change.

when testnet mining ends, Torium will transition into mainnet era. so KYC will start in "Testnet Era 6" most likely (currently we're at Era 4)
