Yesterday at the Easter Vigil I took my Baptismal vows, rejected the devil and all his empty promises and works, today I will receive the Sacrament of Holy Communion.
I am OFFICIALLY CATHOLIC. Thank you so much @frmarcellinus.

Heavenly Father, today, I pray for the discipline to honor the promises I make to myself. Grant me the strength to follow through on my intentions, even when the initial excitement fades and the work gets heavy.
Amen
Say this prayer after me:

I just paid for 16 cartons of chicken at once for the first time in my business life because of this job I got.
May it get better for my business from now onwards.🙏🏼🥹
On Saturday I had a conversation with a fellow young catholic and mehn it was mind - opening.
I inspired her to start praying her Rosary daily and she inspired me to start studying my Bible daily too.
Wish us luck ✨❤️
Our salt and sugar bowls are identical. I aggressively emptied generous amounts of what I thought was salt into the pot and mixed everything.
Two minutes later, I noticed the actual salt bowl sitting on the fridge. I had just seasoned our only survival meal with pure Dangote sugar.
My chest immediately tightened. Four sleep-deprived, angry medical students were in the parlor holding spoons like weapons. If I confessed, they would literally harvest my organs right there.
I accepted my fate and served the food, dropped the pot in the center of the room, and stood near the door so I could run.
They attacked the food like wolves. I closed my eyes as I waited for the screams. I was waiting for someone to spit out the sweet Jollof and Beans and throw a heavy chair at me.
Five minutes passed and there was dead silence.
Chuka scraped his plate, looked up with red eyes and said, "Omo. You are a wicked chef. The seasoning is too perfect."
I was paralyzed. I walked back to the kitchen, dipped my finger into the 'sugar' bowl I used, and tasted it.
It was salt.
I opened the second bowl. Also salt.
I went back to the parlor sweating and asked Chuka why we had two identical bowls of salt in the kitchen.
He did not even look up from his plate. He just swallowed and said, "Those ants were always entering the sugar. So I filled both bowls with salt to confuse them."
As a Christian baptised in the Catholic church, I can 100 percent say that, whatever ancestral curse agenda anybody is packaging for you is broken, cleared, washed away by the waters of Baptism.
Adam and Eve are our spiritual parents, we inherited the original sin from them. I think, that is why some species of humans use this ancestral curse thing to terrify people. Ancestral blessings, Abraham is our father in faith. His blessings are ours. David's too. We have more ancestral blessings than the curses. Pessimistic Christians however focus on the curses. It is important that we live good lives and not do others harm, to be good Christians so that people do not say terrible things against us and our children.
Ancestral curse is real, as a nation. "Our heroes past" were greedy, tribalistic urchins. That is why we are here now. The creatures in power currently are worse the greedy heroes. And this is why Nigeria will suffer terribly, until a good leader will come to establish ancestral blessings.
Almost every other week on this app, we see reports of maids and househelps being badly treated by the people they live with. It is becoming deeply disturbing.
If you know you cannot treat another person’s child with dignity, care, and basic humanity, then do not bring that child into your home as a househelp.
No child deserves abuse under the guise of domestic service. Every child deserves respect, protection, and humane treatment.
Did you know that, if you take a poor boy or a girl from your village. Not that they will do house boy or house girl for you oh. That you want to train them, and they'll only be helping in normal chores that everyone does, their parents will be trying to bill you from time to time.
