We were thrilled by a visit from author Ross Welford yesterday who entertained pupils from Yr 4 to Yr 7 with his talk about the magic of reading, throwing in some dazzling magic tricks as well as a thoughtful presentation about how creative writing works. Thank you @rosswelford!

A main goal for our student led Tormead Environment Committee is to gain the @EcoSchools Green Flag Award. To achieve this goal they've organised various events including a Swap'n'Shop clothing exchange, hosted environmental Enrichment sessions & carried out a school eco-review.
Spring term ended with our annual House Music performances. New Sixth Form House Captains led the production, resulting in Livingstone's win with Disney’s 'Tangled' and ABBA's ‘Slipping Through My Fingers'. Nelson and Wellington tied for 2nd, and Nightingale got 4th place
