@SokoviaEnhancer ~ rub the bridge of his nose. “I woke up with my hands around /your/ neck, that wasn’t something I could ignore.”
Still, eyes everywhere else but on the witch. Childish? Maybe a little.
@SokoviaEnhancer Bucky kept his head low and eyes even lower as the audio belonging to the throttle of one Steves bikes died. With a backpack thrown over his back the soldier abandoned the garage and headed inside the facility. It was the first time he'd stepped back into ~
@SokoviaEnhancer ~ to look at the witch—honestly he didnt want to face her scorn.
“I went to get help. What happened was on /me/, it wasn’t you—Wan, I cant trust my own mind—I can’t sleep next to you, I can’t—“ Buck paused for a moment, bringing his warm and flesh filled hand to ~
@SokoviaEnhancer ~ drained from the trip back to New York but he pushed that all to the back of his mind, Wanda was his priority as of right now—He needed to let that be clear.
“I didn’t hide...” He spoke softly, words barely reaching the top of his tongue, he couldn’t barely bring himself ~
@SokoviaEnhancer He let her have it at him, he simply sat there and took it. Buck wasn’t one to quarrel, in had never once been in his nature and he wasn’t going to start now. He knew /what/ he had done—But hearing it come from her was something else entirely.
He was exhausted, physically ~
@SokoviaEnhancer ~ surroundings, Wakanda was nice—it was certainly something but it wasn’t /this/.
“You could fry my face anytime.”
He paused.
“Wan, I’m here to apologise, I am sorry.”
@SokoviaEnhancer ~ stepped closer toward Wanda and as soon as he was close enough he sat on the corner of her bed. Eyes flickered between Wanda, the documentary being shown on screen and the knick knacks around her room. He kept quiet for a few moments, simply just taking time to soak in his ~
@SokoviaEnhancer Buck was in the doghouse and by god did he know it, she was making it pretty clear with her words and the tone that carried them—And he got it—He KNEW his actions weren’t the kind he could be proud of, he was the asshole in this situation... He hated it.
Bucky ~
@SokoviaEnhancer ~ if he asked if he could come inside her room... He didn’t opt to go too close, he was maybe three or four steps inside.
By god he missed that beautiful face of hers, even her blank expression was something, he caught himself smiling in the slightest.
“What are ~
@SokoviaEnhancer ~ got out of there before she got the chance..” He admitted, feigning a small smile. Buck parted his lips nearing further speech but his words caught in his throat, instead of asking if he could come inside he just slowly sauntered in. Partially afraid of her answer ~
@SokoviaEnhancer He swallowed, thickly. She gave him nothing, absolutely nothing to work with, then again what did he expect? It was he who had disappeared, he didn’t write—didn’t call—Maybe he was deserving of her cold shoulder.
“Yeah, Shuri tried to fry my face before I left, I ~
@SokoviaEnhancer ~ to come ‘home’ to, if thats what this place was—He was still trying to figure all that out.
“Hey..”
He waited, patiently for a response, he had no idea if she’d throw her arms around him or throw her arms at him, regardless he’d accept either.
@SokoviaEnhancer ~ the witch from the opposite side of the room.
“Wan, it’s me..” he spoke, voice soft. As much as nervous continued to pulse his stomach warmed at the sight of the witch, he was relieved to see her again, with her bright red hair—There was nothing more comforting ~
@SokoviaEnhancer He could make out her response pretty god damn clearly by the tone that carried her voice—She was in no mood for company, of any kind, but he was—For her company. Reaching out a hand the soldier twisted the doorknob and slowly opened the door, just enough so he could spot ~
@SokoviaEnhancer ~ thought. The last thing he wanted was her learning of his return via Scott or another member of the team. With a light tap on her door with his bionic arm he waited, N E R V O U S as fuck, but thrilled to see the redhead once again.
@SokoviaEnhancer ~ shave it off before he returned to New York, mind you with some whack tech of hers but he insisted he’d do it the old fashioned way, much to her disgust. He left his backpack in his room before abandoning it and heading to Wandas, without a second ~
