@bugged843@bosschopp Okay can switch 2 play NES Batman or any DS games or Pokemon Red and Blue and Crystal and Silver or can it play Smash Melee or Brawl or Mother 3 in English or any past Rhythm Heaven. Nintendo has barely a sliver of their catalog on NSO compared to PC
@bugged843@bosschopp I mean emulation in general. Switch 2 can barely even play Nintendo games once you stretch it at all you have so much unplayable on Switch 2 that is on PC. Specs are different but PC versions actually hold up while console version always need these upgrades and ports
@Th3_6uy@bosschopp And the other one is hardware that you actually have agency over because you OWN it. Nintendo does have physicals but now they're $10 extra and increasingly rare. Id rather have dirt cheap games and hardware that actually lets me use it how I want
(I still like Nintendo games)
@bugged843@bosschopp Bro PC is the mother ultimate daddy of exclusive games. Especially if you count emulation it's just completely over for Nintendo (I still like Nintendo games)
@Ret2ModGaming@KabiPlays It definitely could happen but tbh I think anniversaries really don't have that much of an effect on what Nintendo does any year
Like of course if it lines up perfectly they're gonna market games as anniversary titles but it doesn't always line up (like BOTW)
@HeavensPiercing 3 Houses at least is crazy bloated from my experience. Even if you can skip all the little cutscenes and features there's just so much fluff in that game. Seems like 3H and Heroes are the most successful games so Nintendo of course will keep the bloat
@SonGekkouga658 Like if the alternative is $10 more for physical how many people are even willing to pay that? We're at a point where you already have no agency with updates and online why does it even matter?
@SonGekkouga658 Yeah in the eyes of the consumer it doesn't matter. Even if GKCs suck there is no alternative at all it's over for physical video games completely
@MARlOMASTA64@MaritheKity Yeah I know they did the cloud version there was just never an excuse for the first 2 games at least to not have a native port
@MARlOMASTA64@MaritheKity Definitely cause Kingdom Hearts is mainly on PS2 and even 1.5 and 2.5 we're on PS3. There's no reason it couldn't run on Switch at that point
@yubi_ch@outkylies Wired headphones definitely weren't broken but they fixed them by making you pay more for the privilege of having Bluetooth and batteries and delay
