Today the GTA Youth program had a couple of special guests from the Canadian National Blind Hockey Team. @MarkDeMontis, Joe Fornasier & @jcabral112 surprised the youth by bringing the International Blind Hockey Cup and their gold medals to show all the youth.

Eddie will be remembered for his dedication & love for the Toronto Ice Owls Blind Hockey Team where he played & managed from 1983 to 2014. Eddie loved  to make his friends laugh with his silly jokes and impressions which we all will miss. Our condolences go out to Eddie's family

Toronto Ice Owls & Friends, It is with deep sadness that we convey to you the passing of our great friend and teammate Ed Parenteau.  Ed passed away Sunday afternoon at St. Paul's Hospital in Saskatoon.

Eddie will be missed but never forgotten.
Rest In Peace our teammate.

THE BACKSTORY… In 2009 Blind Hockey player @MarkDeMontis inline skated over 5000 km’s from his hometown of #Toronto to #Vancouver in his “Quest for the West” fundraising campaign in support of the little-known #parasport of #Blind #Ice #Hockey.
