@chmurav@SquawkBoxSteve@ColinDMello Exactly. I have two autistic kids and they are suffering so much because of cuts. There just isn't enough staff. Integration is a joke. Not only that, but the wait for autism funding is 5+ years. So much for early intervention.
@City_tv This was the worst coverage of the Santa Claus Parade ever. You barely showed anythjng. Do we really want to see you people talking endlessly? We will never be watching your terrible streams in the future.
The FAO reports the Ford government, having promised to end hallway medicine, is actually planning to cut 2,457 hospital beds. This, coupled with layoffs from underfunding, will choke access, extend waits & degrade the quality of care. Time to fight.

Trump would've cancelled negotiations with Canada if someone brought him a Coke Zero instead of a Diet Coke. But Ontario absolutely didn't need to waste $75 million on ads that were never going to make a difference in the first place
@WonderlandNews It's really disappointing that so many rides in the kids area aren't open until 12 pm now. Many parents go early to accommodate their children. This is very short-sighted, and I regret renewing my passes.
@ScotiabankHelps I still don't see my credit card on the app. This does not instill confidence in your bank. How do we know that one day, all of our accounts won't disappear, and we won't have access to our money for days on end? Unacceptable.
The areas shown as green were categorized as low risk, requiring only periodic assessments at 3-year intervals. The yellow, annual inspections. Orange, supports or replacement by Oct 31. Only the few blue areas required immediate action, including simply cordoning floor areas.
Chronic underfunding hurts kids, particularly those with special education needs. The Ford government must do better for students. #onted

So to recap:
The chief of staff, who received “packages” from developers and then sped up Greenbelt removals on their behalf — keeps his job.
His boss, the Minister of housing — keeps his job.
The Premier who approved the land swaps — keeps his job.

Most of the children in Ontario waiting for publicly funded core autism therapy will not receive it any time soon, the government says in an internal assessment obtained by The Canadian Press.

@calphonso@globeandmail My autistic son is in a regular classroom. There is virtually no support. There is ONE EA who is tasked with supporting all of the special needs kids in the whole school. That is not inclusivity. That is setting the kids up to fail. Our school system is failing our kids.
