That’s 47 per cent more than they attended in January 2025 when paramedics received 239 such calls.

BREAKING: The PC government has placed the Peel District School Board (PDSB) under provincial supervision and put the York Catholic District School Board (YCDSB) “on notice".

This level of government interference in Ontario’s education system is unprecedented and raises serious questions about the government’s real motives.

For years, education unions and school boards have warned about province-wide underfunding and staffing shortages. It’s not clear how supervision addresses those issues. In fact, it distracts from them.

What’s needed is real action, and #OSSTF remains ready to work with the government on REAL solutions.
