According to Alberta Teachers Federation, Alberta has the lowest per-student funding. Funding formula has not kept up with inflation and student enrolment. Sask Government knows this. Hence the record funding to Education in 2024-25. There is still work to do. We will deliver.
Thanks, Greg. I want to believe that we are a society that is governed by laws, and that everyone is innocent until proven guilty. If anyone in public office has broken the law, they - like everyone else - should be held accountable.
Thanks, Trudy. If elected, I will me a Sask Party member of Saskatoon Meewasin. As a caucus we can influence public policy. As an MLA, part of my job would include drafting legislations that make my constituents and the people of Saskatchewan better off.
Thanks, Grandpa Mike. I have heard from my constituents who support tax-payer funded private education and those who say the public should not fund private (especially, for profit) education. I believe both sides have valid points and this debate is healthy and valid.
Thanks, Chelsea. Regina School Division said that Saskatchewan schools are being underfunded, and that this has been the case since at least 2010. I am not disputing that.
Sask Party just allocated RECORD funding to education. More needs to be done. But we are moving forward.
You are right, Brad. Bad company can destroy character; and mess up public policy. A good student of politics will see that almost all political parties have had bad people. But, they also have dedicated, honest, patriotic public servants. Each should be judged as an individual.
Thanks for the kind words, Jason. I believe in Sask Party. Under Sask Party government, Saskatchewan has experienced record growth- in population, jobs, home construction, public investment. There is still work to do and Sask Party is the best option to take the province forward.
@TorrMLA your dedication to women's empowerment through Joy's Centre, your academic work, and volunteerism with newcomers is inspiring.
Given your passion for equality and community support, I’m curious what motivated you to join the Sask Party instead of the NDP? #skpoli
2024-25 Budget: Saskatchewan allocated the largest amount of funding to education in the history of the province. Student population is increasing and inflation has been high. There is work to do. But, Premier Moe and the Sask Party prioritize education.

Thanks. Almost ALL provinces are wrestling with how to improve their healthcare. The Sask Party government under Premier Moe continues to prioritize the health sector through record investments. Here is one example:

A @FraserInstitute report shows that when it comes to education funding, Saskatchewan is in the middle of the pack among provinces. I believe that no education system or funding formula is perfect or supported by 100% of population. Rather, there is always room for improvement.
@CateSask@TorrMLA I hate to say it. She is not going to comment she wants into the group. She wants a career in government. If this was a problem she should be in a different party.
