Walk through the streets of Torrington on the night of February 16th, 1646 as the civil war battle rages around you. Complete with sounds of musket fire, sword fights and cannon shots, screams and drums to really immerse you.

The bravest of you can even trigger the famous gunpowder explosion in the church.
Weโre doing a sneak preview from 10-3 on Saturday February 18th to coincide with the annual battle commemoration and then normal opening hours from mid-March.
We had a visit recently from @Clinton_Dolton school and they worked with our brilliant education trustee Bill to learn about the 1646 Battle of Torrington. We love these pictures of the famous church explosion!
