Also get this in mind, he’s only the second player in the history of the tournament to score a hat-trick in a World Cup final Final since Geoff Hurst in 1966. Yes you heard it right, 60 years.

You know how crazy that sounds right. Mind you this is the biggest competition in the history of this sport.

Mbappé didn’t “destroy” PSG or Real Madrid. He left a PSG project that was already being rebuilt under a new structure, coach, and recruitment model. Football squads don’t suddenly become better or worse because one player exits or joins — that’s not how elite team cycles work.

So no — you don’t need to force a “Mbappé guilty” narrative to explain normal squad evolution. It’s just football doing football things.

Le Real Madrid m’a 10 fois plus impressionné que le Bayern hier !

Tout le monde, hier soir, s’attendait à ce que le Bayern Munich roule sur le Real Madrid.

La réalité a été tout autre : avant le carton rouge, le Real Madrid était dans son standard, prêt à attendre l’opportunité et à punir un Bayern qui faisait tourner la balle de droite à gauche sans trouver de solution.

Mendy a fait un match de dingue, au point de faire passer Olise d’un joueur qui s’amusait avec son vis-à-vis à l’aller à un joueur qui avait la peur au ventre de dribbler.

Il a fallu un fait de jeu, le carton rouge, pour que le match se débloque pour le Bayern Munich.

Réécrire que le Bayern Munich a été au-dessus du Real Madrid, ça, il faut le dire à d’autres… On a une télé, les fanatiques.

Pour moi, le Real, avec sa réaction inattendue hier, m’a 10 fois plus impressionné. À 11 contre 11, si le match durait plus longtemps, il entrait dans leur registre : surprendre et pouvoir éliminer le Bayern, qui, avant le carton rouge, commençait à faire de la possession stérile sans vraiment être dangereux.
