Zach @NunnForCongress from the top rope, calls out Dangerous Democrat Sarah Trone Garriott:
"It's sad to see my colleague and my opponent in this race, Sarah Trone Garriott, attacking not me, but a mom who battled addiction, found the Lord, turned her life around, and yet Sarah just wants to score political points... I prioritized helping folks right here in Iowa, many of whom are trying to break addictions of their own. So if anyone is watching this and struggling with addiction and needs help, please don't hesitate to reach out."
Iowa Democrat @SarahforIowa Trone Garriott voted to put boys in girls’ locker rooms. Instead of explaining it, the ordained minister is attacking an Iowa mom who chose redemption.
It’s a sad day for the @washingtonpost when Mediaite’s coverage is running circles around the once-respected paper.
Mediaite actually included @shelFlockhart’s statement, perspective and why she appeared in an ad opposing @SarahforIowa.

.@NunnForCongress slams @SarahforIowa for politically weaponizing @shelFlockhart’s 10-year sobriety journey:
“This race is about policy... I never thought I’d be teaching a pastor what the bible has to say, but hey, here we are.”
Rep. @NunnForCongress speaks out about Sarah Trone Garriott’s attacks on @shelFlockhart:
“Shellie, like a lot of Americans, struggled with alcohol nearly a decade ago and by the grace of God she’s been sober ever since that…it’s sad to see my opponent in this race, @SarahforIowa, attacking not me, but a mom who battled addiction, found the lord, and turned her life around…”
Here’s the full statement from Shellie Flockhart, who made a mistake 10 years ago and changed her entire life after it.
To think that this discounts her from having a position on protecting kids…is something else.
I looked into this…and it’s a complete garbage attack on a woman who has been sober for 10 years that doesn’t even attempt to contend with anything she says in the ad.
Why is the @washingtonpost doing cheap little hit pieces in an Iowa House race?

If you’ve ever made a grave mistake, don’t let Sarah Trone Garriott tell you America doesn’t offer second chances. Her decision to attack me—and by extension the entire recovery community—is deeply disappointing.
I appeared in that commercial unpaid and willingly. I’m not a candidate. I’m a mom, mentor, and advocate who has been transparent about my past. I only speak to what is documented and on the record.
Iowans aren’t dumb. We check the Iowa Legislature site. Votes go through committees, subcommittees, the House, and the Senate. Sarah Trone Garriott’s votes are public. She voted against protecting girls’ bathrooms and locker rooms. She voted against keeping biological males out of girls’ sports.
She tried to make me the distraction. Guess what, Sarah—I’m not on the ballot. You are!
.@SarahforIowa is weaponizing @shelFlockhart's past to distract from her lies and radical record.
What kind of minister does that??
Shellie is open about her story of finding God and redemption. She's now using her terrible mistake to help others.
I'm praying for you, Katie!
Zach Nunn has spent months lying about @SarahforIowa & smearing her character & her faith. Spare me the meltdown from GOP flacks b/c the woman they put to camera to lie & call Sarah “dangerous” literally pled guilty to child endangerment after driving drunk with 2 kids in the car
@MattWhitlock@SteveGuest@_ktmsmith@SarahforIowa A minister who conspires with the liberal media to write a hit piece on an Iowa voter who dares to disagree with her.
What sort of religious leader does that??
Hey, @SarahforIowa A pastor’s job is grace and healing—not weaponizing a 10-year-old OWI against someone with a decade of sobriety. That’s not accountability. That’s spiritual abuse.
