A specialized search and rescue team from Burnaby is deploying immediately to Venezuela to help locate survivors after devastating earthquakes. Canada's consular teams are supporting affected Canadian citizens and we will be there for as long as needed.
The Team Canada Fan March is underway, with the #VPD Mounted Unit leading the way to BC Place. We’re honoured to be part of this special event and to help welcome Team Canada supporters from across the country.
If you see our horses and riders while they’re out patrolling or taking part in the march, feel free to say hello.
Please give the horses plenty of space and do not pet or touch them.
Go, Canada!

"You showed a level of character that some people never achieve in their life. And you showed it when the entire country and a good part of the world is watching. I couldn't be prouder as a Canadian."
PM Carney's message to Canada men's national soccer team
Thanks for your critique, Janet. We actually tried a couple of episodes where House (Hugh Laurie) (please put the brackets in the right place) gets it right first time, but they were only 6 minutes long. NBC weren’t happy. Then we tried some where House never gets it right and the patient dies. The audience wasn’t happy.
One could apply your trenchant analysis to other art forms: JS Bach wrote 30 Goldberg variations on the same chord structure; Frida Kahlo painted 50 portraits of herself; Henry Moore, what??
The point is, or was, variations on a theme; if all you see is hospital, medical blah blah, then it wasn’t meant for you.
Nonetheless, I look forward to your first novel!
