FOLA ADEOLA COMMENDS ABIRU FOR EMPOWERING YOUNG NIGERIANS THROUGH SAIL FOUNDATION

Fola Adeola, co-founder of Guaranty Trust Bank, has commended Senator Adetokunbo Abiru and his wife, Feyisola Abiru, for investing in the future of young Nigerians through the SAIL Empowerment Foundation.

Adeola described the initiative as a “worthy legacy” built on service, selflessness and commitment to humanity.

He made the remarks during a visit to the SAIL Innovation Lab in Ikorodu, Lagos, where he interacted with young beneficiaries and inspected the facility.

GodwinTom has announced his departure as the Managing Director of Sony Music Publishing for Nigeria and West Africa after four years in the position.

Reflecting on his time with the company, he said Sony Music Publishing gave him a “blank page” and the opportunity to build across Nigeria and the wider West African music industry.

During his tenure, he highlighted the expansion of the company’s regional presence, the creation of the Legends Project, the signing of emerging songwriters and the organisation of major songwriting camps.

GodwinTom thanked the company, his team and the songwriters he worked with, describing the experience as one of the greatest honours of his professional career.
