@AviationStl@flystl Off topic but tons of Ecuador fans on Southwest LGA-STL this morning. Assume they’re making the connection/drive to KC. The seat map yesterday was probably 60% empty. Ended up being sold out.
@WallStreetApes Denver UA, Atlanta Delta, Chicago AA/UA, etc so I often check random flights in and out of those cities to other larger markets and it’s dirt cheap almost every time. Airline pricing truly takes a special ability of understanding.
@WallStreetApes They are ruthless in the Midwest due to their market share. Out of STL, typically flights to your destination are reasonable then they screw you on the way back. They provide the only supply of direct flights, so they charge for it. Whereas in Dallas/Phoenix they compete with AA
@ihateshakira@AviationStl Judging by photo it appears Southwest picks up 2 gates on top of the roughly 17-18 they have now. E34-40 are already in service. Once they open all of D, it looks like he named gates for other airlines under the “D” designation, and 2 additional gates for Southwest as “E”
@AviationStl Checked the seats feature and not much was available for changing now. Will confirm come Saturday. Southwest prices were outrageous otherwise would be flying them. Flew them here
@PowerMizzoucom What kind of fraud is going on here? They host the Big12 basketball tournament year in and year out and devote their commitment to kU. St. Louis is the SEC city and the economic engine of the university in Como
