No it doesn't. Trade value is driven by the number and level of their motivation of the suitors not the circumstances leading to the player being available.
And given the player, the contract, the terrible UFA class and the cap level there will be no shortage of motivated suitors.
@TheBobStew Great to have new fans to the game. That said, you can't pitchfork the puck from the goalie or the goalie's equipment to make it cross the line.
As a new fan, does icing and offside confuse you? I've always that people not understanding those rules is a barrier for new fans?
@21stcentvikings@haaaaandrew I'm not going to shit on the WNBA, it's great that the woman have the opportunity to play pro ball and there seems to be a segment of the population that enjoys it.
But c'mon - what NBA player doesn't have a more impressive highlight tape?
@_JordanDecker Yet here you are, a Habs fan, commenting about the Leafs (again). And a Habs fan saying Leafs fans make everything about the Leafs is hilarious. How much of Quebec's culture is tied up in the Habs vs how much of Southern Ontario's culture is tied up in the Leafs. FOH.
@JimCosta_ "By his hometown" is very much revisionist history. Would take about 5 seconds to find 100s of posts from fans of other teams who also and earlier painted him as as a "soft loser".
@JayceeHotTakes We should. Clear no goal and even though Carolina scored on a PP they got a phantom PP late and scored 6 on 5 just after their PP ended.
@sports8 The puck was under the goalie and Dorofeyev pitch forked it from under him into the net. I couldn't believe they challenged that!!
Not complicated.
@TheCanadian19@Dalegreen64 To get experience working, to facilitate getting to a better place in life (ie help pay the school bills or limit your debt) or supplement retirement income.
Have you never been to a KFC and seen who is working there (pre-government funded imported fast food workers)?
@HabsInsight He explained himself. The team hasn't been successful and he, as the captain, has a different philosophy than Yzerman and he's almost 30 has barely been the postseason.
Asking for a trade is the responsible thing to do.
Is there anything that doesn't piss you off?
Why would you care what another performer does to enhance his character? I'll tell you why - because you were jealous of how much more over they were.
Side note - if you hadn't already and someone else had come in as Sparky Plug around the time you were senselessly beating a game show contestant you would have pissed and you would have given them a permanent side-eye too. You would have found it corny, dumb and a waste of air time (because it was).
@espn Thanks for reminding us the E stands for Entertainment and comes before Sports. You can't pitchfork the puck from under the goalie.
FFS, this is a garbage tweet from the a rights provider.
One has nothing to do with the other and it has everything to do with scarcity of resources. Many people have the talent to be a teacher, not many have the talent to be an elite coach/athlete.
That's how the economy works. If you don't like there are many socialist countries in the world you can go try and see if you like that better.
@iamhockey1 What if Hage was "the prospect". Seems kind of likely given that goof Pelley (sort of) knew his name at that hilarious press conference he did and was said to be in the room on trade deadline day.
Can't live in the past. He's cheaper than Quickly which creates room for this season and he's done after this year. Then you pay Shead, draft another PG this year or next and go forward.
There's no way you should be holding a grudge with him leaving - 100/100 people would have done the same thing under the circumstances - those circumstances being Houston gave him a WAY bigger contract than the Raptors were offering.
