Hey, I know I haven't been streaming (I hope to come back to it eventually, I need a space of my own) But, I do now have an account on Bluesky! If you follow me here, go follow me there now too, in case the Twitter situation becomes untenable.
YouTube removed me from monetization due to "inauthentic content" yet my primary focus on my channel IS THAT I AM A BLENDER ANIMATOR
Please share this around and tag @TeamYouTube , I have spoken several times with YouTube support and I have not gotten any genuine help...
FUCK AI AND SUPPORT REAL ARTISTS
We are so cooked. Everyday AI content is eating up more and more market share of our eyes and ears, and it’s now basically indistinguishable from reality. If regulation is not placed SOON around copyright, we are going to loose unfathomable amounts of human creativity.
Most developing artists rely on a small project-based work to get their foot in the door in an already gate-kept industry. Being a “starving artist” is looking like it may become less and less attainable without being forced to become “proficient in ai tools”.
The pursuit of artistic excellence must be protected at all costs. It is built on hundreds of years of blood, sweat, and tears from uncredited and unpaid artists.
Heya Greaser Gremlins!!
I will be doing a schedule switch up! Normally, the Diner is open M, W, F. Starting in February (and until April), streams will temporarily be on the weekends, hopefully I can do two a week but definitely at least one.
Reason being…ya girl booked a movie! As the Costume Designer! 💪
This is the first time I’ve had to balance content creation while designing a film, so thank you in advance for understanding any changes to stream schedule!
Much love! 💕
It’s now been 7 days since early access launch and I can confidently say that I have no regrets saving Hytale, it’s been the most challenging but rewarding experience of my life.
Thank you everyone for the amazing support, and a big thank you for the rebuilt Hytale team for trusting me to get this to the finish line in just a few months. I haven’t been involved with Hytale development for many years and coming back was a big unknown and risk for me, and my family. I fully trusted the people and it just worked. Amazing team, every single one made a big difference.
I am becoming progressively more worried for our humanity due to extensively terrifying improvements to AI generated content media.
From blatant misinformation to even the recent commercial adaptations of AI (acquisition of Suno into the music industry) WHICH NOBODY NEEDS.
We need artists to thrive - not feel discouraged.
Please be weary with what you see or hear online, contemporary media feels like nothing is real anymore.
AI sucks and we need to stand up against it.
This is incredibly hard to write, but last week, Illy passed away. She brought so much warmth and kindness into my life, even when she was ill.
Thank you for showing her love over the years, you gave her so much purpose and joy. Things won't feel the same without her.
Hi !
I am passing by to remind you that Trans people are incredibly strong for simply trying to be themselves in a day an age in which it's normalized to be heartless and cruel towards them
Stay strong ✨
I think it really is a shame bigger Vtubers aren't talking about this huge severe issue.
Am I really the only one not afraid to break the PR speak? (This is bait to get you to talk about the problems in the video)
Yo Mama Guy here - we can’t joke about AI moderation, repealing Section 230, KOSA nor the SCREEN Act. Each one will destroy our social media platforms and our internet experience.
Instead we need to mobilize our voices and let Congress know these aren’t okay. Also, we need more influencers to speak up on these issues. Contact your Congressional representatives and tell other influencers they need to speak up.
‘The Owl House’ creator Dana Terrace responds to Disney+ funding AI-generated short form content in new tweet:
“Unsubscribe from Disney+. Pirate Owl House. I don’t care. Fuck gen AI.”
Meant to tweet this yesterday but thank you for all the Oshi posts! It means a lot to me 🥹
For those who didn’t, guess what? I’m your Oshi now. You’re welcome!
This moment marks the biggest change ever in my journey, and I don't know how to express the feelings I'm going through right now, but I want to try.
For all of my life, it's been surrounded by the inability to be myself, or truly find happiness. Parents who never wanted me and told me to just 'be normal' followed by constant physical, mental, and sexual abuse. People I thought who were friends who told me who I was supposed to be. Who told me to stop ever going outside their bubble of acceptance, and was disgusted of me for even thinking I was anything outside of their normality. And roommates who were intolerant and bigoted, often taking their anger out on me or constantly making my life hell even through the latest hours at night.
People have always asked me why I work so hard, why I never seem to rest in this space. At first, Vtubing was only a passion, and I never lost that desire to do this just for fun. To this day it's the best time I've ever had. But thanks to my amazing community and friends, it swiftly became a career. I saw a chance to make something of myself, to finally have a chance to maybe afford a place to call home. It was my chance to finally escape it all and maybe, just maybe for once, feel like I'm not constantly in fight-or-flight mode. Constant panic attacks became less frequent, being autistic felt less like a stigma, my cptsd was more manageable, embracing myself in gender and appearance even if it was through vtubing and even for once dressing the way I always wanted at a convention. Vtubing has given me a chance to finally live.
Not a Hell with an abusive family. Not a tiny bedroom of a prison with people who hated me. But instead, a genuine place I can finally be myself fully, just as Vtubing gave me the courage to finally start discovering who I was. And even better, to spread that encouragement and hope to others, to remind them they can do it too. That as painful as this world can be, there's always hope for those who keep fighting.
I never take for granted the friends I've made, and the support of my community. It's gotten difficult at times to reach out because of how hard I worked to make this living possible, but we're here now. I never truly spoke about the Hell I've been through to get here, how before all of this I even made an attempt because for 30 years, I thought my life was just always going to be this painful.
The community, my friends, my agency, they all made it possible. Thank you for helping me find freedom and the peace I always wanted.
All I can do is lay on the floor, stare the ceiling and cry hoping this isn't a dream.
I'm home.
I'm finally home.
