It’s not just building permit delays. We have over 25 serviced and ready to build on lots waiting months for final subdivision approval in 2 different projects. It will take another 2-3 months for building permits after subdivision approval.

We’re building more housing but red tape and layers and layers of approval delays are slowing us down. With the exception of Langford, count on avg 18 mos to rezone land, then approvals for subdivision and building permits add another 18 mos before construction.
