• Would have took place in 2 time periods - Alan Scott in 1941 and Guy Gardner in 1984
• Jessica Cruz, Simon Baz, Kilowog & Sinestro would’ve been in the series + a new Lantern character Bree Jarta
• The Manhunters were planned to be the primary villains

I retweeted this negatively. Yes, I watched the clip before I did. After listening again, I’m man enough to admit I was wrong. This is not what he was saying. Admittedly, he’s saying higher gas prices are a small price to pay to keep cities like Los Angeles and San Diego safe. If I demand accountability from leaders, I better be accountable myself. I apologize for spreading false narrative.
@ReformedDaisy I don't know you but I am sorry for your loss, words cannot fathom the magnitude of losing this little soul. Prayers to you and your family🙏🙏
My words exactly. It's A Wonderful Life was a financial failure when it was first released but found later success and is now a staple classic. Time will judge where Digger will stand
Box office is just one metric to judge a film’s success. And often, monetary success does not equal quality, just browse a list of the highest box office grossers for some truly awful movies.
Critical success is fleeting and changes over time.
The better judge is time itself. Does the film stand the test of time? Will this movie matter in 5, 10 or 20 years? Will we still be talking about it? Will it be remembered?
This is like watching the live action version of Cowboy Bebop from a few years back; zero respect to the lore and characters. No self respecting fan of this show would try to defend this and call it good, it is absolute garbage
Hal Jordan, the greatest Green Lantern, who reignites the Sun, becomes God's avenging angel, resurrects, and has saved the galaxy countless times over...
Is killed by a random rural female cop, who John Stewart lets walk free.
Another hero ruined by Tom King & Damon Lindelof.
The point of Lanterns, and most modern media, is to degrade White men and dethrone them as the heroes in their civilisation's story.
That, and reinforce how there is no such thing as evil (except being a racist White man), and all we need is therapy to overcome our trauma and just be a heckin' good person.
James Gunn's DC universe is dead on arrival.
