@DanNeidle Which is why a wealth tax or capital gains aligning to income tax without indexation (which is arguably sensible) fall into the same category. Yes you can do it (to make a political point or virtue signal) but at what cost?
@DanNeidle Yet sadly, a large segment of politicians seem to think the sentiment / principle is more important than the outcome (even if you have less revenues to spend on public services etc). Insane….
@lesdeuxbernois@JennPellegrino@ok_patriot4@elonmusk Hahaha… laughable… c’mon - this is a joke of an argument. US cities of almost any size far less safe than London. When you are looking for mid-size exemptions it says it all….
@Jonathan_Hinder ps - statistically UK inequality hasn’t increased for 25 years but the UK under both Tory and Labour Governments (and thanks to Brexit) has got relatively poorer. Fix that first!
@Jonathan_Hinder The Government has a different challenge - if the first question is always “who can we tax?” (to paraphrase Pat McFadden) rather than how can we create growth, with inward investment and a tax system that maximises incentives and the size of the pie; we are screwed long-term…
@piersmorgan Watch his You Tube video below - he literally doesn’t have a single clue about tax or finance, it’s properly embarrassing…. might as well get a random from the local pub to drive policy 😂

@RedWallPleb@garyseconomics Hahahahaha - embarrassing. If this was me, I would crawl
under a rock and never emerge again. What a complete muppet. All talk and no idea at all
@talkSPORT Harry Kane - 72 goals this season alone.
Gabby - 76 goals in his WHOLE football career (also less than Kane has scored international goals for England) 😂😂😂😂😂
