I suppose in the end the whole of life becomes an act of letting go. But what hurts the most is not taking a moment to say goodbye.

Frontline's reporter @Vedaant_Lakhera was forcibly removed by @DelhiPolice because he asked them for names and badge numbers. He was dragged to the road and then released. We take strong objection to this high-handedness by the police.
We spent months investigating the inner working of the EC.
What we found: the majority of the Commission, kept in the dark for almost a year.
Election Commissioners Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Vivek Joshi objected on record at least 14 times in 10 months, FOUR times on a single day, to decisions taken in the Commission's name without their knowledge.
Here is what they flagged:

Vote chori is a crime against the Indian people and a direct attack on our constitution.
The BJP, RSS and EC who organised it have committed an act of treason.
Justice will be served.
The video from Jamui, Bihar is deeply disturbing.
Two Class 10 students were stopped on a road. Harassed. Humiliated. Molested. A young girl, hands folded, begged to be let go while goons groped her and dragged her away.
Who gave these men the right to behave like this? This is not "culture." It is patriarchy: the belief that any man can police a girl's body, her movement, her choices.
When control is mistaken for culture, and such attitudes are normalised by Andhbhakts, mobs start believing they are the law.
Every individual in that video must be identified and prosecuted under POCSO, and justice must be swift. And if the incident happened on September 19th, why are the culprits not behind bars yet?
And the Bihar government must answer why a girl is not safe on a public road at 7 pm?

In keeping with the spirit of the Apology published on September 13, The Hindu has decided not to raise a bill for the publication on September 12 of the offensive front-page advertisement titled “What is Dera Sacha Sauda? (Facts vs Fiction)” in the newspaper’s Delhi, Mohali, and North India editions.
Even if it is essentially symbolic, this decision makes it clear that The Hindu does not wish to derive any commercial benefit from the publication of an advertisement for which it has expressed unqualified deep regret.
Found tap water in one of the Tribal villages in Balaghat where more than 30 kids have died.
Would the Ministers and MLAs make their own children drink this water?
This is a school for tribal children in Balaghat.
Would our politicians ever send their own children to a school like this?
The ASHA workers here have not received their salaries for last 6 months.
Apology -- This is a screenshot of the front page of today’s Delhi edition of The Hindu. The apology that appears on this page has been published on the front page of all the editions of The Hindu.
At the spot, I am told that notice was not for mapping but for verification of address proof and DOB. While i showed documents like bank passbook, pasport and aadhar, too much stress was given on PAN card. I still only showed post office passbook for address and 10th marksheet for DOB.
I wouldn't have done the tweet but lost my cool when an official in black shirt threatened a woman that he will lodge an FIR against her, just because she went on stage to ask a question.
Let's not harass the BLO as she is as ignorant as all of us when it comes to SIR notices.
Attending SIR hearing at Government Boys Senior Secondary School in Rajouri Garden extension. Notice says I should come between 12-2. Came sharp on time and have been waiting since then.
Utter chaos on the stage where government officials are threatening and misbehaving with people who are saying it's their working day.
Since 1;30 hours, barely 65-70 people were attended and because my token is 175, I might end up waiting till 10 pm?
