This is exactly it. Gyokeres gets blamed so hard for having a "bad preseason" but we playing those games with nobody in the midfield (havertz, no odegaard) and second choice wingers.

Havertz is extremely lucky player. It’s unfair that Gyokeres had to play with injured Odegaard and Saka and Madueke/Martinelli as wingers last season while Havertz playing with inform and injury free Saka and Odegaard plus MLS in midfield.

@Salibasexual02 I have a text message to a friend time stamp August 2025: I hope he plays MLS in midfield this season. Took him until Fulham Apr 2026 to realise it and drop his favourite zubi. His favouritism thing is a big big problem. Better late than never though I suppose

@Fartitect I'm with fartitect. Madueke has poor ball retention, end product and terrible touch. He adds less than dowman and probably Nwaneri on RW. Martinelli was with us longer than him and also helped us to the CL final and title. Madueke is getting away with lot worse, need to go first
