@corkfootballpod Well done John - calm, sensible analysis as always with good insights- very frustrating to see us not play to our potential but some progress has been seen though the shackles need to come off a lot more if we are to really compete with the best teams.
Some performance from @louthgaa today v @monaghangaa - great awareness by the players, real athleticism and ability to kick the ball - clearly a very well coached team
Best player most of us have ever seen I would guess - but to be fair to @Kerry_Official they know how to use him and feed him and they have other class forwards which means Clifford can’t get a lopsided amount of the opposition’s defensive attention either. Still though we are witnessing a giant of the game and he probably hasn’t peaked yet 😆
Just about sums it up - hard to take as we actually kicked it away having loads of possession without playing well and Mayo were no great shakes either but defended well and were efficient in their shooting - only those directly involved at this level know the colossal commitment required so we need to acknowledge the progress made this year
@D_obsy@OfficialCorkGAA@MayoGAA Well you can only improve your current position and they did that by getting promotion and getting to Croke Park - next year that would not be seen as progress but we have to be realistic
Big day today for @OfficialCorkGAA v @MayoGAA - Two evenly matched teams so lots of questions - who will Cork ask to mark O’ Donoghue & McDonald ? Who will Mayo ask to track Steven Sherlock ? Who will get their high press to work better ? Will Cork’s spread of 2-point shooters prove decisive ? Should be a cracker

How will the @OfficialCorkGAA changes work out today against @Offaly_GAA - you couldn’t really say any player was dropped from the last game so that bench is packed with top class players
#gaa#cork#offaly#hurling
Down a few top players but @OfficialCorkGAA certainly not short of quality replacements and look at that bench !! serious panel depth now. It all starts from Sunday but @Offaly_GAA have a good young team who are on the up and clearly deserve to be in the Q/F and will be dangerous
🚨 TEAM NEWS 🚨

This is a great listen for all @OfficialCorkGAA football fans but also for people outside Cork to understand what the GAA means to people and what joy a win can bring after years of hurt . 👏🏻👏🏻. #gaa#donegal#cork#football
I don’t think @OfficialCorkGAA would be fearful of playing @Kerry_Official in the Q/f Tommy - true they underperformed in Killarney but they have run them close the past two years so why would they fear them. Playing @donegalgaa away has to be as difficult a game as you can get so as long as Cork bring a level consistency they can have a legitimate rattle off anybody. Cork’s biggest issue in the past has been Cork themselves !
