I've been hard at work for the past month stage managing WigOut! 2026 in East Atlanta, and wrangling queens. 🤠 If you'd like to see how the sauce is made, come lift the lid and peek inside. https://t.co/DbMCo6LPxR

I went on a journey stage managing WigOut!, East Atlanta's very own drag festival. Join me for a story about queens, chosen family, and generational support. https://t.co/OgPQ1C9H5S #drag#atlanta#community
@anxietymsgs Safeguard your emotional bandwidth. If you have to engage, prepare your thoughts by writing about them first. If someone tears you down, rather than lift you up, set them free.
When building trust with recruiters, pay close attention to any buzzword salad in the initial text communication. If you see “fast-moving” “venture-backed fortune-level” “hypergrowth, start pulling on that initial red flag. 🚩
I believe you need to treat people as if they have the best of intentions, even when there’s a disagreement. We are all trying to do the best with the information that we have. But when someone shows you who they really are, believe them.
Last week I was stuck. I moved from Oakland to SF to rent a place with my friend, and I saw a different side of him. It blindsided me how he could be manipulative & self-centered. Since I’m unemployed, I have no agency. But I can write about rising from the ashes.
I just had a call with a recruiter, and I have to say, this is how it’s done. The moment that I just opened up and started talking about why I engineer, and what I expect from my team, the whole tone of the conversation shifted to 2 people connecting. It was beautiful.
@anxietymsgs Journaling first thing in the morning. When you put your ideas on physical paper it creates a mind/body connection. And the things we worry about then become objective actionable steps towards a better day. ✍️
Habits can be broken, systems can be improved.
- @LeilaHormozi mentioned that systems are like a series of experiments that we run In life, and we can set them up and refine them over time.
@AlexHermozi mentioned that we should treat every day equally.
- The idea that weekends should be treated differently doesn’t serve your goals, if you are working towards building your business to succeed.
Architect the systems in your life like you architect your codebase.
- Take the same scrutiny you use to craft functions and loops, and iterate them to look for bugs and improvements, and apply that to your life.
With the rising cost of cloud LM compute, more teams should consider running models locally as their dev environment, then saving the API calls for staging and prod.
