@grandslamcurl@robbiedoherty When my oldest son was in grade 5 during Covid days, their teacher gave them an assignment to write a letter to a professional athlete and send it to them. He chose Brad Gushue, and was the only kid in class to receive a response from their athlete. Definitely a class act
Thank you @BradGushue for inspiring a generation of curlers, especially this one. What you have done for this sport cannot be measured. You always made time for the fans, whether it was signing autographs or writing a letter to this kid during Covid. You are truly the GOAT
@JaniceOwen As a payroll supervisor, this stresses me out so much. I can't imagine the frustration for the employees, and the payroll professionals trying to do their job
@hotelsdotcom@hotelscomhelp hahaha except you can't because the response I continually got was "our apologies, there's nothing we can do" which is ridiculous
@GoldlineCurling My dad used to take us out on the ice to try throwing rocks after he was done curling in bonspiels and that's where the love of the sport was born!
Started my #canadaday2023 off in the Quβappelle Valley and finished it in the northern boreal forest - Saskatchewan certainly has some beautiful scenery! Happy Canada Day!
@GregOnSports@PifflesPod The Riders have been trying to coast on a "we built it, so they will come" mentality. My family of four lives in northern Sask and would LOVE to take in a game, but the cost is just too high. Haven't been to a game since the old Taylor Field
