YALL. After months of community organizing, the city council just voted unanimously to take the East End Rec OFF the table as a potential site for a police/fire station. This means the Rec will remain a safe, free space for kids and families in the community- still free of police
Reading a text for my psych class and it said if two or more people independently give you the same piece of negative feedback, you should at least consider the possibility that it might be true. Some of yall need to let that sink in 🤔🤔
The police break the law. Regularly. Flagrantly. With the assistance of the entire power structure. I don’t know why folks keep calling for more laws like that’s going to change things.
Until you can empathise with a woman on the basis of her humanity, and not her proximity (imagine if that was your mum, sister, daughter etc), you still have work to do.
