You see why I said we should all support and appreciate Mr. Alex? What flag are the students holding? Is it an Igbo flag or the Nigerian flag?
This tells you the sheer magnitude of what he has done. We should all be praying for him for putting Nigeria on the global stage.
Out there, those students are known as Nigerians. They have made us proud, and this was possible because Alex decided to take the initiative our government ignored for way too long.
Like my mum always say: “Never fault a man who does good, no matter how small.”
This is Nigeria’s flag being flown in Rome.
Yet misguided elements lost to the abyss of Hades are criticizing and fighting these little ones because they are not from your tribe.
You claim to be progressives and patriots yet you hate when Nigeria does well internationally because it’s not your tribe.
Tribalism must die for we to be called a Nation.
We are currently a country not a Nation.
As a Non Messi or Ronaldo fan, I opine that Messi plays better football than Ronaldo. I genuinely don’t care about both of them but based off what I’ve watched Messi plays better
It’s not FIFA that made Egypt concede 3 goals to Argentina in less than 15 minutes. The referee and VAR were spot on in this match.
Egypt were poor. It’s as simple as that.
The grapes are sour because you couldn’t have them??? Ronaldo! Common man!
Be gracious in defeat. Saying this while the World Cup is ongoing, right after your team got knocked out, is borderline disrespectful to the dozens of competing nations, hundreds of competing footballers, and 10s of millions of fans watching.
The FIFA World Cup is football’s holy grail. There is nothing comparable to it, and it’s okay that you couldn’t win it; every nation needs a combination of luck and collective effort to do so. However, to turn around and diminish a tournament you stayed active for, to play in at 41 is not exactly a good thing to do for a legend of the game.
Hey there, forget about winning the trophy, do you just need a big performance when the pressure is high?
Like in a Title race?
Maybe the knockout stages of the UCL?
Or the knockout stages of the Euros?
Maybe even the knockout stages of the World Cup?
Well…Bruno Fernandes is NOT your man
If Bruno Fernandes was playing in a meaningless game he’d be having the game of his life, fails to turn up in big games, hence the reason he’s never won anything major in his career and big clubs don’t want him either.
Unfortunately Manchester United fans think he’s a legend.
I took the boys and teachers to the Italian Parliament building in Rome, which is equivalent to the National Assembly in Nigeria.
The boys asked why everyone was walking freely and why the police were being so nice to us.
I told them that what you see in Nigerian government offices is Third World behavior.
If you’re leading your people well, nobody will want to kill you.
At a time when the southeast is taking their kids to a mathematics competition at the international STEM Olympiad in Rome, the southwest politicians, influencers, et al are insisting that frying akara & roasting corn is what the youth should strive towards. While the politicians in the north are sponsoring mass weddings & pilgrimage.
We will see the results in each region in a few years.
I do not believe this but what I do believe is that there’s an uprising of people not wanting to even reason at all. They’re okay with pushing blatant lies, not even personal opinions.
I mean i saw tweets of people saying Messi played the free kick without the ref blowing his whistle, each of those tweets had nothing less than 5 million impressions.
Under each of those tweets, I saw few people posting other videos of the ref blowing his whistle, but those tweets were suppressed and not gaining any traction.
Why is there a DELIBERATE motion to push “lies”?
If United had spent 92 million on Tonali and 85 on Fernandes I've got to say I'd be over the moon. We'd have our three midfielders in by the first week of July, two of which are ready for pre season. Yes it's expensive but that's the price you pay to be ambitious now.
