Played more than a few rounds of Vindictive (@mrshowell24) today. The kids loved it and it was so simple! My classes made some tweaks to the team version and here's the setup we liked the best.
New content I’m brainstorming: intersections of science and popular interests. I would love suggestions, but I’m already thinking about:
-make up and science (chem/bio)
-video game mechanics and science (physics and life science)
-cooking and science (chem)
@JasonSCampbell Idk about you but in my field, survival is pretty important. Still have to fight some nature to survive & pass on genes. Otherwise what’s the point?
@KelleyMaharaj Great work! The only feedback I have for you at this time would be to add in captions to the video. This will increase accessibility to your content! Good luck!
I am working on a few more free activities and some of them will be decontextualized from science to include mediation strategies, mental health wellness and ice breakers! Happy new school year, all!
