Boomtown, Winchester's five-day-long music festival, returns to the Matterley Estate this week, Wednesday, August 9 -Sunday August 13th.

Traffic and road closures are to be expected throughout the period of the festival.

Playground Opening TOMORROW - Saturday 6 August 11am, Stratton Bates, Alresford. Imagine all this, but in green! One day there will be rain and the grass will grow. In the meantime please join us. Despite what you have read elsewhere, the opening is definitely at 11am this Sat!

The new outdoor gym at Arlebury Park is now open 😄🏋️‍♂️☀️ - come along and have a go!

We are pleased to share that the new outdoor gym at Arlebury Park will be installed next week. A great opportunity to enjoy with lovely views over the countryside :) Funded by a CIL grant from WCC which we successfully applied for last year. We hope you enjoy it.

Sadly on the advice of our contractors due to the intense weather, we have to delay the opening. We are so sorry about this, but it really cannot be helped. The opening of the playground will now take place on Sat 6th Aug at 11am. Do join us. We hope you think its worth the wait!

Thank you to all who attended the Jubilee Picnic at Arlebury Park and thank you to those who took part in the competitions. A special thanks also to all those who helped us organise the day. We hope you all had a wonderful bank holiday Jubilee weekend!!

The playground is largely being funded by the town via the the Town Council, but special thanks are owed to the generous contributions from Alresford Pigs, Alresford Rotary and Alresford Youth Association. A huge thank you for your support.

Work on the new playground at Stratton Bates has begun today :) The old playground will now be out of use until works are completed in approx. 6 weeks time. We apologise for any inconvenience.
