On Friday, April 24, 2026, Suffolk Public Schools was proud to participate in the United Way Day of Action! We are so grateful to the incredible volunteers who spent the day beautifying our campuses.

A huge thank you to our community partners for their hard work:
- Virginia Natural Gas tackled landscaping upgrades at Lakeland High School.
- TowneBank dedicated its time to refreshing the grounds at Kilby Shores Elementary School.

From cleaning flower beds and trimming shrubs to spreading fresh mulch, your efforts have made our schools shine! Thank you to all the volunteers and the United Way for your continued dedication to our students and staff. We would also like to extend a special thank you to United Way for their generous donation of mulch to revitalize our flower beds and building perimeters.
