Out n about on site visit and a lovely earth closet. Don’t see many these days. If I was in need it would have been a privilege.

#suburban housing typology #CostaRica style… very much for expat who want home from home. Buy a dedicated plot and buy from a pattern book.
@TownscapeInfo on holiday.
@alexarmstrong It’s wrong. The assumption is £10k an acre. Agricultural land has been massively overvalued for a long time mostly for asset book reasons or for hope value. IHT will mean Agri land is down valued/rated to more normal values. Therefore unlikely many farms will be subject to IHT.
@paullewismoney You assume land values at today prices, wrong. Agricultural land has been vastly over valued for many years due to asset book valuations … at the point of/if IHT levy, valuation will be realistic and valued less than £1m = no IHT.
@KirstieMAllsopp Agricultural land has been over inflated/valued for many many years. A farm subject to IHT will just be down valued so under £1m. Don’t see the problem tbh. It’s all about moderating the value of land and buildings… thought you’d know about that?
@FarmingUK From a planning point of view, the value of agricultural land has been massively inflated for years. All that will happen is that farms subject to IHT will be down rated and down valued to £999,999 . Land values will reflect market trends. Not every case I agree.
