Tom Holland has now starred in all 4 of the biggest opening weekends of all time at the worldwide box office.
He is the first actor to ever achieve that millstone.
Kevin Feige when asked if Tom Holland’s Spider-Man will meet Tom Hardy’s Venom in the #MCU:
“Always have hope … We have no hope.”

We had ourselves a lovely PSN outage, we see. Just one of many things that can go wrong with an all-digital future in the way Sony's shapes up to be. Be careful what you wish for.
PlayStation Network has been down for about 8 hours so far🚀
Physical games still function just fine. Unlike the dystopian monopoly future that Sony wants for you.
Put your money where your mouth is

a huge group of ppl on a path of titans (co-op dinosaur survival game) server led a peaceful migration in honor of sam neill instead of killing and eating each other. gaming is beautiful
Path of Titans players held a peaceful dinosaur migration to honor Jurassic Park star Sam Neill after his death
The community grabbed their best dinos and held a peaceful gathering to remember the late actor
What does a digital-only future mean for video games and gamers?🚀
❗️Most store fronts can remove any game at any time for any reason without compensation (Sony itself did that with 500 movies just few weeks ago)
➡️You are paying full price under the presumption of purchase, while you’re basically renting “access” for the price of a purchase, that can be taken at any time
❗️Most physical games can work without downloads, internet or being tied to an ID
➡️Digital-only future forces connectivity with the internet and a digital storefront
❗️~121 countries do not have PlayStation Store dedicated to their country
✅Nearly 64% of the world has no legal/official way to obtain games through PS Store
❗️PlayStation Store has no ability to migrate an account into a different region
✅If you move to another country, and want to use your new local credit card, you won’t be able to use the same store, per their terms conditions
❗️PlayStation has been testing dynamic pricing (different prices for the same product in different areas)
✅When Sony creates a monopoly on games, they can raise prices on a whim, without much competition or alternatives
❗️Different stores for physical video games offer a wide range of pricing/offers, more often than not, less than what is offered on PSN
✅Stores can offer empty boxes with a code on discount, but with ownership and trading/second hand market gone, there won’t be much of an alternative or that big of a difference in pricing, and physical is about more than just buying empty boxes and digital is about the convenience and not going to the store only to get a paper code
❗️Physical games can be traded and resold, and therefore even more convenient pricing
✅Once again, a digital monopoly by Sony will benefit them and negatively impact players
❗️Digital game “purchases” are tied to one account
✅If your account is hacked, banned, lost or moved, you might lose all your games. And when it’s a monopoly, all kinds of new terms can be imposed and they can hold your purchases above their heads and make you comply or lose them
So physical games aren’t just about nostalgia, or a delivery method, it’s about having agency over purchases and not being at the mercy of a digital storefront’s policy and permission
