@Whimsywyvern She could be attached to him then after she gets back since he's the remaining connection to her dad. Maybe not seeing him as a father but maybe an uncle, at least in the beginning. Trauma is tricky, specially in kids. It could even be the opposite and she blames him instead(2/?)
