Today’s glupshit saurus: unnamed French premaxilla. In Monvoisin et al. it’s assigned as megalosauroidea indet, however that is as megalosaurine as a pmx can get lol. Used @Randomdinos01 torvosaurus as a base

Duriavenator hesperis
Its position within megalouridae is quite unstable. Here I have reconstructed it as as an afrovenatorine, as it shares more traits with them in my opinion. Used a mixture of Leshansaurus and dubreuillosaurus.

Leshansaurus qianweiensis skeletal

My old schematic was based on scalebars, but turns out there are actual measurement throughout the paper, which changed it a LOT.
This time there’s also the baby!

@Anax_TheJunius That part is sadly just inferred from other megalosaurs, Leshansaurus only preserves 2 mid-posterior caudals and no chevrons

@Anax_TheJunius Some other adaptations that can be seen, is a pretty sizeable 4th trocanther and a pretty robust femur which would imply some strong tail muscles. While its legs aren’t particularly built, an enlarged cfm could help it achieve its max speeds in no time for an ambush (2/2)

@Anax_TheJunius Leshansaurus is from the lower shaximiao formation, which if I’m not mistaken was a heavily forested environment. Having such a light and mobile build could have definitely been helpful in navigating such an environment and chasing smaller animals (1/2)

@Anax_TheJunius They’re also very spinosaur like! Leshan has been put in spinosauridae in a few phylogenies. While I find it unlikely, it’s still interesting to consider
